Much like Q-vert, this page remains under construction. I stripped everything off Q-vert down to a rolling chassis, and sent it out for rust repair, body work and paint. I figured this was not the car to teach myself those skills. I also figured that the professionals would do the job quicker and better than I could on my own. Well, as the one year mark passes, "quicker" hasn't proved to be true. Hopefully - when the job is done - it will have been worth the wait.

I've spent my time cleaning up and painting all the bits and pieces. A blasting cabinet is really essential for this. Putting it on wheels adds some real convenience. This is the Harbor Fright model that is popular on MC.net

I also found a use for my engine lift, while it patiently waits to replace the engine. My neighbors seemed concerned that I was creating some kind of yard art. I'm sure they were relieved to see it go back into the garage...

I've also been spending a lot of time searching the Master Parts Catalogue to determine the "correct" parts for what is missing or in need of replacement. Boxes are filling my shelves. I'm hoping that when the time comes to put things back together, I will (a) have everything I need, (b) remember where I put it, and (c) remember how it all goes back together.

Stay tuned... I'll update this page when some progress is made that translates well into photographs...
